PARIS FASHION WEEK

Paris fashion week runways were full of creativity and emotion that all had a diversity of style. The trends looked towards bold colors, tailored suiting, retro themed, and new styles that we will be seeing this fall 2017.

Chanel gave us an out of this world spectacle with a rocket ship in the middle of the runways. I really enjoyed the Chanel show the most because of its black and white patterns, and a vintage // new age feel to the look. See some of my favorite looks from the season below:

Louis Vuitton showed us silky gold dresses, leather coats, shiny plaids, satin dresses (in gold, blue, and ivory), fur details, feather details, capes, track outfits, and more.. The makeup was minimalist and the hair looked natural for most. Props to creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere for an amazing show.

I wish I could of gone to school at “Fenty University”; Rihanna’s Fenty fall/winter collection was displayed on a school set instead of a traditional runway! I didn’t have to be there to feel all the school day vibes that were totally in line with her latest collection. I am sooo obsessed with all the coaches jackets, soccer jerseys turned into dresses, velour and polyester track suits, bodysuits, and cropped and oversize polo shirts.

If Fenty x Puma didn’t make me eager to try out some new pastels, then Miu Miu really sent me over the edge! Their collection was filled with fur booties, pastel suits, knee high boots, colorful fur collars, lingerie slip dresses, silk bombers– all giving off a super girly yet trendy look.

Moncler Gamme Rouge RTW Fall 2017 has a collection that looks romantic, naive, folk -like, and outdoorsy. The runway was set around an autumn foliage scene of fallen leaves and mossy plants surrounded by a moving forest video projected on the walls. I’m a huge fan of sunnies, and love the ones that Moncler had spotted on the runway.

This was soo fun…. right? Let me know what your favorite looks from Paris fashion week are 🙂
